Although I became vegan during my time on the HCG diet and never tried weight loss by following a vegan diet alone, I’ve known many vegetarians who have had difficulty losing weight by conventional means. I am not a doctor, but I think the HCG protocol allows the body to finally reset and heal from the abuse it’s taken from processed foods, additives, pesticides and other pathogens in our food.

I realized many vegetarians and vegans who wanted to try the HCG diet were being incorrectly told by well-meaning people that the protocol was impossible to complete without the use of animal products. They in turn either struggled through on their own without any guidance on how to adapt the program or with minimal input from non-vegans who unfortunately didn’t have the right information or expertise regarding a vegan diet. Perhaps worst of all, some tried to eat meat in order to do the protocol precisely and were miserable or even stopped before reaching their weight loss goals because they were so averse to it.

But it doesn’t have to be like that.  I am here to tell you that you can not only succeed, but have spectacular results completing the HCG diet vegan. With a little guidance and some tweaks to the protocol you can be successful in your weight loss goals and do it as a vegan.  My goal is to be that guide for you, to help you navigate through the sometimes confusing world of the HCG protocol, and to help you to do it vegan.
